weird noise from trunk in 2006 S55

weird noise from trunk in 2006 S55
When i pop my trunk I hear something sounding like a small electric motor,it lasts for about 10-20 seconds and then it stops! Nothing is on in the car,so what could this be!

Oh, OK then it may be the air pump making noise...I dont think I would worry too much about that unless you begin having battery discharge problems.

Guys on my 2012 w221 550 new 4000 km same issue! And about two weeks its start, I come to service they check all system and electrick moror and say that dont see anything, say something about air, its really ok? I start worrying and think maybe come to service again, car absoulutley new!

The S class does not have an air pump for the suspension, as we have ABC hydraulic system. Mine makes a winding noise when it closes and sucks down but I have the auto-open and close motor.
