Like the others, I think the "fat lip" on the bottom of the wheel will certainly take some getting used to. I'm curious to see how much the 7 speed tranny will help with performance. Time will tell how it will handle the abuse from aftermarket tuners unleashing the motor's true potential.

who is going to buy this 2wd S65 and go out and get smoked by a 4-matic S63, I am very disappointed they didn't give it 4-matic.

Its hard to disagree with you, but there is no space as is with the V12TT. The 4-matic S63 engine compartment must really be packed. Sooner or later you'll be force to pull a wheel to change the oil or add washer fluid. LOL

I think Mercedes-Benz is capable of figuring it out they just didn't want to make the effort. at least they could have beefed up the tranny to take the full unrestricted torque the motor is capable of making.

I was planning on replacing my S65 with a new one but now it will have to be an S63 that will get one of these installed http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/1130
