Old member, new car. Welcoming the 2005 S55 to the table
OK, I did it. Stepped from my 01 S500 to the 05 S55 after 11 years. High mileage but my mechanic checked it and was gave it a "very good" report.
Initial changes are rims (a Radenergie R10 lookalike), bluetooth going in Saturday and a new DTM style steering wheel with paddle shifters (very excited).
I'm dealing some rubbing issues on the rear but think I'll have that sorted on Friday.
Pictures to follow (after rims are done and calipers painted), but now for my questions:
I want a carbon fiber front lip like the one in the attached picture. I've been internet hunting with no luck so far .. does anyone here have any leads on where I can get one of these?
I'd also like to change the headlining to alcantra leather, I was disappointed it did not have that option. Is this even a realistic idea or am I going one step too far?

Welcome back.......the front lip is a myth, so if you ever find one, buy 2 and let me know. There are a few guys that have changed out the headliner for alcantra leather. IMHO, I would spend the $$$ on engine mods. Good luck!

Bluetooth today and back to the tire shop .. nothing ever easy but worth it.

I've heard the CL W215 lip will fit with some modification to the lip.....the CF lip from JL motoring. There is also one.....I think FRP black available from Sarona. This one is made for the W220 body. Check it out.
