Here is a new S55 AMG owner.
She is 2005 with 30570 miles on it.
I purchased from MB dealer in AS-IS condition. It has been 2 weeks now and found front door soft closing was not working. So, I ordered a new OEM door actuator assembly part and replaced. It works perfect now. And squeaking noise from belt or pulleys. So, I sprayed bit of water to the ABC pump pulley thread . Noise disappeared. I think drive belt is not good and am going to replace. Please let me know if there is other possibilities. All pulleys are tight, 'no-play'.
I heard ABC is big potential issue on all ABC equiped vehicle. I think mine is good now. But I decided to add the magnetic filter (ordered from eBay seller in Germany) to fluid return hose line. Any advice will be welcome.

It is Charcoal interior.
I have 2005 S500 in Java Interiors too. But I think I like charcoal interior better.

I ordered 19" AMG OEM wheels for W222 in like new condition.
These are 38mm offset instead of 44mm.
I hope they fit without spacers.

Love those wheels. I was going to buy a set for my wiles SL55 but had issues with Power Wheels Pro.

30k?! Holy crap! Kudos! And nice looking car to boot! In regards to your ABC suspension when it does fail I would strongly suggest doing one of the two; buy OEM ABC struts or do a coil-over conversion. We had a guy roll into my shop with a 230 AMG that had aftermarket hydro struts and they didn't last more than a few years (at least that's what the owner said). And once you replace one strut the rest of the suspension will domino soon after. Hopefully somebody already went through the heart attack of replacing the struts/pumps/dampeners before you bought it.
I haven't decided which tires to go with yet.
But it looks like wheels are going to work well. I mounted without tires at both front and rear and checked. It was all OK.
