For Sale in Las Vegas NV: 2006 S65 AMG
Fly in to Fabulous Las Vegas and drive home.
ThisS65 AMG is one of only 427 delivered to the North American market. It was thefirst year Mercedes offered the S65 and the last year of the W220 S-Klassechassis. This is a one year only car. The car currently has 95k miles.
Over last few months I installed new tires and they have a warranty fromDiscount Tire. Replaced serpentine belt, motor mounts, transmission mount and an ABC hydraulichose that runs under the engine. Transmission service completed along with theconductor plate. ABC system also serviced with new fluid and filter. Receiptsavailable by request for this and other work. I also picked up new front andrear rotors and pads in anticipation of brake service. ($1800+ in parts) Needto be installed. The only issue (that started recently) is an intermittent parking sensor failure. The system still works.
Extras:
I added clear front corner lights in place of the amber ones.
I have a true German issue plate on the front.
I installed a pair of K&N air filters.

Custom fitted folding windshield sun screen
Included is a Lorinser style trunk spoiler and roof spoiler. Not installed, primed in white

This is a top of the line car with a $180,000 MSRP. Leather and suede coverseverthing. Heated and cooled seats front AND rear. Hand built V12 biturbo with 604 hp and 738 torque. 5 Speed transmission with 3 settings and paddleshifters. (A tune will add about 100 hp and torque)
I would like to get $24,500 but I'm open to offers.

New in Mercedes-Benz boxes, 2 piece front rotors and rear rotors plus pads for all 4 corners. If the buyer wants, I will have them installed at the local MB dealer and have a brake fluid flush completed as well.

Got the new brakes on all 4 corners. 4 rotors and 16 pads. Flushed and replaced the brake fluid with DOT4 blue. It has also been lowered with adjustable links. It's lower but not slammed, just leveled out. It has more adjustment if the next owner wants to go lower...

Black is so hard to maintain. I wanted an Anthracite Grey S55 but couldn't pass up the S65. I was thinking about wrapping the car. Simple non permanent change that will help protect the paint....

I'm curious as to why it got a conductor plate... In virtually every car I've seen that done in a valve body or replacement transmission followed shortly thereafter.

The built in Escort Passport 9500ci radar detector has saved my butt more than once... It has GPS and a speaker that tells you what type of radar signal is detected. The display module is mounted in line of sight below the speedometer and the control is hidden in the storage bin in front of the shifter.
