So w220 S65/S600 models are faster than w221?

15 S63, 18 Ram 2500 Cummins
So w220 S65/S600 models are faster than w221?
Looking more into it and realized that the S65 have the same power but the w221 are 500lbs heavier while the w221 S600 has a little more power than w220 S600 but still 500lbs heavier. I take the the w220 models are faster than too?

The logic stacks up, but I didn't realise the W221 was that much heavier.

Any time you have the same power in a lighter chassis....it's going to be a little faster. But the W221 is a far superior daily driver....IMHO.

My W220 S55 feels more like a boat than my fiance's W221 S65

I find the seats to be more comfortable. Telephone interface is better. More modern interior.

The W221 S65 is about 100 pounds heavier than the W220 S65. There is some incorrect information posted in Wikipedia on the W220. The W221 is a newer, improved design when compared to the W220. The interior and electronics are newer. The W220 S65 remains a great car.
