2013 S63 amg
All I wanted was a jump

I sent this email to mbusa and they said that they fwd to mercedes roadside assistance.

PLEASE HELP!!!! I OWN A 2013 S63 AMG. ON JUN15 2016 I CALLED MERCEDES ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE BECAUSE MY BATTERY WAS DEAD. THEY SENT OVER A TECH TO JUMP IT. IT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. I CALLED BACK AND THEY SENT OVER A TOW TRUCK TO TOW IT TO MERCEDES OF TACOMA. 45 MINUTES LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MERCEDES OF TACOMA. THEY SAID MY CAR WAS DELIVERED DAMAGED AND THEY WILL NOT MOVE IT UNTIL SOMEONE WRITE UP A CLAIM ON IT. THEY SENT ME OVER A PHOTO OF THE DAMAGE. I CALLED THE TOW COMPANY AND NOT ONLY DID THEY DENY DOING THE DAMAGE. THEY WAS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. (I'LL SEND SCREEN SHOTS OF EMAIL). I COMMUNICATED THIS TO MERCEDES ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. I ALSO SUPPLIED THEM WITH PHOTOS PROVING THAT MY CAR WAS IN PERFECT SHAPE ON THE TOW TRUCK AS IT WAS LEAVING MY PARKING GARAGE. THE TOW COMPANY IS POINTING BLAME ON MERCEDES OF TACOMA. A REP FROM MERCEDES ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ENSURED ME THAT MY CAR WILL BE REPAIRED IN A WEEK AND RETURN TO ME IN PERFECT CONDITION. THAT WAS A LIE. MY CAR IS AT PARAMOUNT AND THEY HAVE NO DIRECTION FROM MERCEDES ON REPAIRING MY CAR. ALL I WANTED WAS A JUMP. FROM LOOKING AT DAMAGE I'M ALSO CONCERNED ABOUT THE POTENTIAL COLLATERAL DAMAGE TO MY CAR. FOR ALL I KNOW MY CAR COULD HAVE BEEN DROPPED ON THE FREEWAY. I'VE BEEN WITHOUT MY CAR FOR CLOSE TO A MONTH NOW. WHAT IS MY OPTIONS? I WON'T FEEL SAFE NOR COMFORTABLE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE ANY LONGER. WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN HANDLED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER? I WAS TOLD NOT TO WORRY BY MERCEDES. OK, SO NOW I'M SCARED
Picture taken by dealership upon delivery

Ha..picture taken of video recording of my car on the tow truck leaving the parking garage in perfect condition

The owner of the tow company..💩

Damage may be from the time it was removed fron tow truck,on to the ramp.As the ramps they drive up ,and down, are low .Or the car as moved forward on the tow truck while on the move. The driver should have the broken parts from front sill cover. If it was mine i would see heads roll .If nothing is done , tell both parties you will get the media involved .

Don't engage with the tow company

It is upon Mercedes proper to make it right for you, and they need to go after the tow company

Both parties have insurance for this very thing

Tow trucks have a wheel lift where one part is attached to the truck and another "L" shaped piece has holes for a pin to lock in different positions for larger or smaller tires. If it was not adjusted small enough, the wheel lift would continue to rise until it hit the wider part of the tire or in this case the body of the car. Either way, if you called Mercedes and they provided the towing service I would be persistent with them or have your insurance company contact them. You should get a loaner car while you are without due to their negligence.

Mercedes roadside assistance had to eat it. It took some bashings and emails to corporate, to make it happen.
Then all of a sudden... im rolling and my caliper fell off. Apparently the custom shop painted the backs of the calipers, and when the paint cracked the calipers bolts loosened and the caliper fell and tore up my new painted wheels, rotors and of course brakes with calipers. The custom shop had to eat 8k for damages, for a job that cost 3k.🤔
