What oil is everyone running in their V12TT?
I've always run Mobil Oil 5w-40 but I'm considering switching to Liqui Moly Top Tec 4100 because I've heard it's just as good and a bit cheaper.
On other vehicles, I've had good luck with the Pennzoil Euro spec stuff too.
What's your recommendation and why?

Out Of Control!!
As long as the oil meets the manufactures specifications then who gives a rats ***---every individual will be persuaded by all sorts of HS sources to purchase their oil because it's better and cheaper bla bla----what's the real purpose of the post?

Opinions and experiences
The purpose of my post is pretty clear. I would like to know what others are running in their V12TT and what their opinions and experiences have been.

I'm currently using Liqui Moly.
Almost 4 years ago my old indie wanted me to change the Mobil 1 every 5,000 miles.
I was doing it every 10,000 miles.
"sludge builds up in these Mobil one cars as they age" says the old Indie
Hmmm thought I...
Why would I pay for a synthetic and change it like a non synthetic.
New MB indie comes to town.
I talked to him and he said.
I use Liquid Moly it's what the Germans use.
You can go 10,000 miles no issues.
That what I do.

I have been running 0w40 mobil 1 since i bought the car at 76kmiles. I am now at 224kmiles and change it every 10k. Zero oil burning and no smoking and the engine runs great (wish all other things on this car were as reliable). Everyone has a favorite oil and a horror story why they do what they do. Do what you feel is best. I believe using the CORRECT fleece filter is more important than the make of the oil as long as the oil is full syn.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Is 0W-40 the recommended viscosity for our M275 engines? I was having a look at the owner's manual, and it just says "MB Recommended oils" whereas the engine compartment simply states Mobil-1. I haven't seen a viscosity rating yet.

Yes, I know... but what viscosity rating? Mobil-1 has many different viscosity ratings for their full synthetic oil. I just want to know what's recommended for the M275.

I thought I heard they no longer support Mobil 1 0/40 but they do the 5/40.. could have been misinformation though..

Well, the difference between 0W and 5W during cold starts should be minimal. I suppose either should work well in our engines.
Anyone ever done a used oil analysis?
