That's what I thought. Last I checked it looked clean. Will do a thorough once over again.

Amstel, since you've been dealing with Clark on your coilpacks, I recommend watching the videos on his website. They really help to diagnose issues with the packs or voltage converters. In them he shows you what the signs look like for likely failure points. That should help you have a little more confidence in the repair.

Also? It sound silly but be meticulous about missing/loose fasteners on the coilpacks, ground straps and voltage converter mounts. My car (S600) had 7 different misfire codes when I bought it, and I was all ready to start spending money. When I got under there, I found a couple dozen missing bolts for all of that stuff, and after I mounted everything properly, all the codes fixed themselves. The MB techs at this dealership who were the last to work on my car should be ashamed to charge money for workmanship that sorry.

Thanks for the suggestions, however in my case it was definitely the coil pack gone bad. Once I received my replacement from Clark and installed it, my misfire on cylinder 5 and 6 went away completely.

Hey man don't know if you got that pulsation damper off but I just did this myself last week and though i'd share... used a 24mm open end wrench I ground thinner to fit in the space and stuck a drift in the hole on the body of the thing to lean on, probably what the hole is for. It took a bunch of force to break it loose but I got it. Bent the drift a little even

Yeah, got the pulsation damper off a couple weeks back. Had to buy a bigger 24mm box wrench although I didn't have to grind it to fit. For counter leverage, I used a small pipe wrench to hold the valve body. The damper spun right off.
