Here is a question for you Veterans of the S65 is there a specific Bluetooth puck I need to buy or will any of the Ebay ones for 120 bucks work?

On the contrary. I think you did pretty well. I paid 27k for my 2006 S65 with 54k on the clock a month ago. No warranty however and I already had to put $1500 in parts into it. Again, congrats on the purchase. Enjoy!

Nice! I love the 220 and 221.. I have to say I like the 220 a hair bit more but technology and looks wise the 221 wins.. if I could have gotten a blown V8 in the 221 I would have.. 90k isn't bad either but having owned many used cars and car lots I have always gone for cars with practically no miles or a bit over 100, like 120-130.. the reason why? In my case 50-100k is when everything goes to hell.. that may just be my luck though.. I think you did great though because of that warranty.. you need to read the fine print and make sure it's an exclusionary warranty though.. if it's good that's awesome! Most places won't warranty a S600/65 and if so want a huge amount.

The warranty is thru assurant via USAA my merc dealer says they are the best, and it has a 60 day cancellation clause that gives a full refund. Then it is prorated after that if I cancel it. I am a wrench guy so I don't mind the work for repairs. But I did my homework on this car pump was replaced at 50k the coils have been done 2 times and all schedualed maintence was done. So I felt I was safer with a higher mileage car that had a solid history. Fingers crossed. I figure if I can keep 2500 in the car kitty. I should be able to handled most parts prices as long as it does not blow up all at one time.

Great deal, great car, great color (ok so I'm biased of course as I think I have the same color or close) and good on you that you got the warranty. You did GREAT! These cars new cost.... well, you know. A crazy amount of dough.

Congrats JC!
Not sure if you're a beer drinker but maybe sometime this summer we could meet up at FullSteam brewing. I would like to get some others around the area to do something like this.

Sounds great but I did a lot of time researching my warranty on my 2010 S550 and you really should make sure it's an exclusionary policy otherwise they usually don't cover much.. if it is your fine.. you need to read the fine print though so you don't throw away a few grand on a warranty that will deny everything.. my uncle lost $2500 that way on his E class.. other than that I think you did great.. I don't even consider it a high mileage car.. 90k is great! 150k is high mileage!
The title page has the correct vin and description on it. I have read the what's covered and what's not covered portion of the warranty.
Please elaborate on the exclusionary portion in which you speak. Break it down in 2 year old speak. Lol
Thanks

Welcome to the club!
I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do. My wife thinks I am completely crazy because of how awesome I think the S65 really is.
Had my ECU tuned last year and I will be deleting the mufflers hopefully this week.
Have fun!

Who did your tune? And an audio file of the muffler delete would be awesome. I would love a bit more rumble. I just don't want to do it at the expense of a loud drone.
