Split Cooling

Hey guys, I have an 06 S55 as most of you know, and it's not modded heavily but I'm working on it. I have a small split cooling tank in the front, its a custom tank not that junk BMW tank, but I would like to get one of the couple gallon tanks, possibly even a trunk tank, but one of the things I was considering was one of those under hood tanks they put on the E's in the top right corner.. the only problem is the SAM is there there on the S. I know most here don't mod but has anyone figured out a decent spot for a cooling tank?

Did you upgrade your Heat exchanger? I tried looking everywhere for the right size spec but no luck except for a 21.5" length Fluidyne exchanger.
Im trying to find one for my 04 S55. Not much choices for our cars. E55 has alot more choices then ours. This sucks!
Im thinking about buying the Fluidyne unit.

No I haven't replaced it. If you do and it fits good report back to us!

I might go a different route and buy two heat exchangers. Will replace two oem ones.
Will see.

Update for the heat exchanger. I ended up buying a generic one from ebay. Its a pretty good size, but had to remove my right passenger side bumper bracket in order to fit. The reason is that the inlet and oulet ports are on the passeger side. This would of worked alot better if one of the ports were on the other end. The measurement are 21.5 x 6.75 x 2.5. This is a very good size for our cars, but the only bad side of it is that you have to remove the passenger side bumper bracket.
