Quote: Nah none of that man no upgraded fuel rails nor injectors or pump brotha , all stock these cars are capable of amazing things with minor tweaks (just not to many people want to explore the platform) and yea deff a lot of seat time/data logging and making sure the cars happy and functioning as it should with the setups
actually having a meth kit installed now so can’t wait to see it when it gets back and see how it reacts to that
heve you been into your turbos yet?

I’m thinking of grabbing a used set off eBay & sending them to a friend that modifies OEM twin turbo systems for the 3rd generation Rx-7 (FD3S) & see if they have potential for improvement.

ot do most people just swap them out to aftermarket units?

my car has 100K miles on it, not sure I want to play with higher boost pressures right away.

Why would an LSD make the car any faster on a dragstrip?

Each rear wheel has the same torque, the same weight, the same weight transfer and the same jacking effect.

It's only old cars with live axles that really need LSD's.

Quote: the BIG fault you all make, and I made too is not focusing on cooling first

Tune= must have, first or course engine and transmission ecu of course

LSD= must have, first of course

but then, Dual pierburg 7.06754.05.0 + full size intercooler conversion + dual spall pusher fans and automatic regulator

and then, the Box of Caviar on the cake: Water/Meth. injection (Weistec) or any other brand kit (I preferred weistec as the hose, the programmer and injectors where all preset, no struggling)

V12 Biturbos, it's all about cooling ! DO THIS FIRST ! AND YOU WILL FLY ALREADY !

sorry but I lost so much time and money before discovering this, makes me angry seeing you go the same direction

then, there are lots of automatic settings to disable in the engine ecu to get the turbos run at 34psi
ask me, but only after you have the cooling up
Please post links to these components you mention

I am talking about cars we use for fun and everyday
LSD changed my life, right wheel kept slipping like hell
I only drive ESP off of course

Lsd is not needed when driver mod is engaged , these cars have enough power to slide and have fun with (although an lsd may make it a tiny bit more fun) [deff not needed in my opinion]

And for the record if you want your car to be “ fast “ , first make sure it’s healthy .... all the mods these guys are mentioning with no true proof to the method are not needed especially if your stock car isn’t performing to its potential...

Quote: posted the pdf where I got the LDS build, look in previous posts
then, intercooler radiator has to be full size, if you have that already you are fine. if not, get a full size from other s models and adapt
fans, buy spal pusher fans
variable fan module: Flex-a-lite
then the water meth kit from weistec
and the tune from Kleeman or anything descend delivering 650hp at least

once you have that hooked up, start by running a track with ahmed and instantly beat his world record
after that, msg me and i'll advice you with some extra settings so you get 34psi out of the turbos

straight pipes required of course !

Ahmed, don't freak out, this is humour

edit: forgot the Kleeman trans tune
and trans mod if your trans takes it

guys for the record don’t listen to this man(he deff knows a lot about the cars and mods so I will not insult his intelligence) ... but all that money spent on “mods/upgrades” and doesn’t realize the reason he is actually faster than a s class is because

1) his car comes 300 pounds lighter from factory

2) mans removed whole abc system and converted to coil overs (way lighter system)
so just to top it off he has same engine and 500 pound advantage
Just to help you guys put in to perspective

also benz ninja I’m really eager to see your
0-200kmh (which you never posted on your thread)
0-60mph
60-130 times

if you have a draggy video mode preferred please

Quote: Cool you take it like that, it was only humor as I said

but seriously consider water /meth
I can't wait making a new tunnel run with my new straight pipe concept exhaust
its too cold now

maybe my fault I jumped to early and took the wrong way , but how else to take your on my post saying my car is slower than yours lol either way bro thank you for the input man and yea I just got done installing the kit (you are deff right makes the car way more upbeat) I can’t wait to do more logging to get it dialed in properly

i have a 07 Sl 65
kleeman tuned
tcu tuned
secondary heat exchanger. Planning on upgrading the pump.

Going to have custom down pipes made as the only ones I can find are like $5000
