However, I’m still more apt to go for a garage heater for winter. I’ve looked at some of the used-oil burner heaters that service garages use. I don’t have a good floor plan though.
I may end up hanging an LP burner unit in the ceiling with a built-in circulation fan. Needs to vent to the outdoors, but I have a bedroom above the garage. Fidgety building safety codes need to be satisfied.
Same in Georgia, hot and humid just waiting for fall temperatures to arrive. Building safety codes I can understand but damn the county and government always have their hands in our pockets.

Good point. I’ve seen the glow heads that attach directly to a 20 pound LP. Could be useful for prewarming the space. dangerous to use when I’m spraying cans fulls of flammable solvents and cleaners and degreasers. Originally Posted by CaptainR
