I need some help I'm frustrated . I checked all the basics, been thru 2 charcoal canisters
Can't get fuel in car keeps clicking off, never top it off I found that charcoal canister keeps filling with fuel If I pull hose off bottom of canister and let it drain then I can fuel up but same thing happens in about 3-4 fill ups
Please help!!!!!!! 2004 S55 AMG

Have you pulled all the codes? That being part of the emissions controls would likely trigger something. Consider checking the vacuum line that goes into the base of the supercharger.....it's often dislodged (but if so it should cause a CEL). This is the steel tube that's held in place by a bracket that's bolted down with the rearmost, inboard valve cover bolt on the left side (drivers side). To confirm that it's plugged in and that the grommet that seals it is in place, you must remove the left side intake plenum (6-7 screws right on top, and a hose clamp to the rear, easy to pull in a few minutes). But caution: there can be piles of dirt/sand etc. in the narrow space between the inboard side of the plenum and outboard side of the supercharger that will fall right into the intake ports as you lift the plenum off. So best to use compressed air to blow it out good before you go too far, but still use caution as you likely can't get all the crud out. You'll also see that that tube leads back to a solenoid valve on the left of the engine compartment. I'd test that 12V makes it open/close. Let us know what you find.
Solved there is a fuel pressure regulator on r/s bottom of fuel tank that gets it's vacuum from canister and it was bad
I have the same issue, but everywhere I look the 230-476-03-32 pressure regulator is shown as discontinued. Is that the part you used?

Do your remember where you got it? They are probably out of stock as well, but might be worth a try.
I bought it thru Mercedes and they had to order it Try FCP Euro I'll try some of my resources to. Also you can ask Dealer to see if any other Dealers have it

Sorry to revive an older thread, but my '03 S55 has a fuel leak and the cause is a corroded fuel pressure regulator valve (230-476-03-32). I was wondering if Dragrcr150 could tell me how much this cost via Mercedes and if he replaced it himself or did he have the dealer replace it? Thanks for any help.
