Oil leak NEED HELP

hello everyone, i noticed my car is leaking a lot of
oil. One day after i got home i moved the car later in the evening and noticed a big puddle of oil under the drivers side front corner of the car. I haven’t been driving the car because i don’t want to risk anything but i think i found where the leak is coming from today (see attached images). Does anyone know what the part name or part number for this piece is?
Please excuse my ignorance i’m still new to the w220 chassis

the line that is leaking goes near the radiator and then goes to the front right corner of the car. Thank you all for your help.

Well… that line is running to the condensor (Part No. 220 500 08 54). But I doubt that’s what’s leaking. Everything above, below, and around it are soaked with oil (if oil is what that is, as opposed to ABC fluid or something else).

If you’re new to the car, my first WAG would be valve cover gaskets leaking down from the engine. The way to see would be to have someone get the car on a lift, spray everything off, then check back to see what comes back. Or, you can take a flashlight from above in your garage and look around the top of the valve cover. Valve covers need to be replaced on these every 50k miles with spark plugs and are known issues. They don’t hide from flashlights very well. If your valve cover is leaking, you probably need spark plugs too because they should be done simultaneously and the prior owner of your car likely didn’t.

PS… look at the very top of your 3rd picture. That’s not the hose leaking upward. That’s something leaking down from above onto the hose and everything else.

thank you for your help so far maw! I do not believe that it is a valve cover gasket because there is no oil burning or dripping onto the exhaust like it was on my w208 m113. I believe it could be spraying from below the driver side plastic air inlet because it is covered in oil. But at the same time i don’t know if it is true because there is oil on the front of the engine and some of the pulleys (tensioner pulley is what i noticed first). I’ll attach some more pictures and a video or two.

the picture with the drawing is those lines that i suspected to be leaking.

Yeah, I can't tell. From these pics I would suspect the hose with the 6/27/02 date on it. But this is where degrease the engine and see what comes back comes in handy. There's just too much oil there to pinpoint a source, at least for my eyes. Can't tell what's fresh and what's spray.

I had a very similar leak in my '03 S55 - the exact same spray pattern on the air inlet. I ended up replacing both of those lines you circled, and I also replaced the gaskets in the oil cooler. No more leaks!

Were the lines or the gasket the culprit? Could you tell?

I replaced the Oil Cooler Gaskets and Lines at the same time, so unfortunately I couldn't tell you which one the culprit was. I wish I had inspected them closely to figure it out, since the lines are pretty expensive.
Before I did the lines and oil cooler gaskets, I replaced the valve cover gaskets and found that the leaking continued. That's how I ended up doing the lines and gaskets.
