Wheel fitment advice for S55
I find myself back in the Merc fold again with an '03 S55. I'm looking for advice on proper fit for a set of 19" wheels that push the envelope on fit and width, but not to point of rubbing or clearance issues. It's more about front and rear wheel width options and appropriate offsets for those widths. I'd like to be in the 275-285 rear width range and 245 give or take in the front. Has anyone ever created a comprehensive chart of measurements?

A set of 19x10 would fit very nice in the rear, et46 is S class offset. probably 19x9 in front. I have 295/35R18's in the rear which is perfect for 18", when I had 285/35's on 20" wheels it was rubbing a bit in the rear. So I'd suggest a 285/35 on the 19 and it almost certainly wouldn't rub.

I shutter to think what 20s would do to the ride quality so I won’t discuss those + I have no experience.
