Advice - to buy or not to buy

2007 E63 --> 2009 S63 + 2015 S65 (RIP)
I must be the anomaly because I have had my 09 S63 for over 6 years now and I just crossed the 150k mark and I have never had to tear into the engine for any reason. I beat the **** out of the car too, I don't drive it like an old lady. That being said, I do my maintenance and the cost for brakes is ridiculous but I mean, were talking about a 500 HP tank that whips muscle cars asses with the AC on and seat massage on. I love my S63 so much, I kept it even when I got my S65 (which I also love). In my personal opinion, people have issues with these cars when they don't take care of them, they don't drive them or they don't drive them like they are supposed to be driven. They get cranky when they sit, this goes for a lot of high end cars. Nobody will ever like the cost to maintain a Benz, it just is what it is. If you are worried about affording the maintenance on these cars, don't buy them, but they are built to last. My 2 cents.
