I wanted to say that I am excited to add this W220 into my garage. I believe that I am the 4th owner of this car. A little backstory on the vehicle-this was owned by the 3rd owner since 2011 and has remained in Reno during that time. The owner bought the car with 48k miles and managed to only put on 9,000 miles during their ownership. The wife ended wanting to sell the vehicle after he passed away since they were she didn't use the car as much as her minivan. Ended up flying out to Reno to purchase the car and drive back to Arizona this past weekend. The car ran like a champ except for a minor hiccup where we got a check coolant level light message approximately 50 miles outside of Tonopah. Let me tell you... that one got me worried since we were in the middle of nowhere and there's no cell signal. Once I added some fluids, the car ran great all the way home to AZ. Here's a picture of the car all cleaned up.
I wish I had the original window sticker as I enjoy having those little memorabilia with the car and to know what each options cost.

My other car that I had for a short time was a 2005 CL65 prior to this and I sold it in November of last year. The Mercedes before the CL65 was a 2001 SL500 Silver Arrow. I typically have an affliction towards Acura Legend, but German cars still vibe with me such as these powerful monsters.
Congrats! I too own a 2006 S65 and, since there were only 427 of them imported to the US, I'm always casually looking up current sales and values. From the many I've seen come and go, yours is probably the most rare. I have never seen this color, I thought they only came in black, silver, and pewter. Also, your car looks fully optioned and the rear seat package is mega rare. When time comes to sell, Bring a Trailer will be full of enthusiasts who will appreciate how unique your car is and they will bid high for it. But until then, enjoy this brilliant machine.
Thanks! I am still excited to have this in my driveway. I wish I had the sticker for the car though so I can see what the options cost. As for the color, I had to look it up and it's code 747 or Granite Gray. It's different take on the usual Mercedes color for sure.

Nice find. Granite Grey is often confused with my own Flint Grey (color code 368, IIRC). I think yours has what's referred to as the Four Seater Package on this document, which I had saved from back in the day. I ended up converting mine to a 4-seater by replacing the center with a roll top cubby, mainly because the kids are grown and I haven't had 5 people in the car in over a decade, but also because I like the way it looks. And I had the extra wood matching pieces for the door ashtrays already (so why not).

That is super clean. I'd say yours is more rare than mine since you have the ventilated rear seat which I don't have. That one looks super nice! Howany miles were on it when you sold it? Also, is that a reproduction Maroney sticker? If so, how and where were you able to get one?

I don't recall mileage when it sold, but the most recent pic I could find showed 74k on the odometer. Sold it to a collector who flew up from Texas with his wife and cadually drove home. Not directly, apparently they put 3k miles on the car traveling from western Washington back to Texas.
As for the sticker, the website is visible at the bottom of the last pic. I don't recall the price of it, but it's a nice item to have for such a conversation piece.
I find myself in the market for another S65, probably a w221 this time around, and would love to find someone interested in trading for a 2015 E63s.

So after getting the S, I ended up with an itch and had to add a coupe into the stable. Received this beauty yesterday from the transport company, a 2005 CL65 with 34k miles.
