only 600 Miles and the **** hit the fan !

only 600 Miles and the **** hit the fan !
Driving across swiss montains this morning, engine warm,, oil warm, coolant warm, all ok !
Then all of suddend yellow light signaling low coolant level
Another 3 miles, red alert, stop the engine
well, whe you are in the middle of nowhere... you really don't smile
This said Mercedes customer service was there in less than an hour.
Diagnostic : heavy leakage of coolant
Truck will come and take the car to the dealer within 2 hours
Furthermore, difficult to start the engine sometimes - need to press 3-4 times the ignition button
Cruise control does not click sometimes.....
Was offered a car for the duration of repairs but prefered to be driven directly home.
Will use my BMW cars during the coming days
WTF on a +200K USD and less than 600 miles
They better fix all this fast..... otherwise.....

HI guys
problem solved. It was just that one of the hose in the cooling system that was not clipped properly. As the engine became hot due to the trip in the mountains, high pressure in the system, just push the hose out of the connector
Factory issue. Hope someone will get a strong remark for not controlling this properly
for the difficulty to start the engine I mentioned, the dealer recommended that my handbag containing the key should not be stored on the rear seat to avoir poor connection. Tried it three times, it works.
Remain the cruise control. Will test it again, might be my ignorance on how to use this device properly
Anyhow the baby is back home already and I have to say that Mercedes road assistance and the dealer did all what they could to help me and repair this car in less than 48 hours
Very happy about that. My frustration expressed in the titile of this post has been swallowed.
Hoping a good ride tomorrow despite Coronvirus. We can still drive in Swittzerland.

This reminds me of my first day experience. I got a call on the way to the dealership to pick up a car. The message is not inspiring - car had failed inspection and there is faulty lights module that dealer is ordering to ship from Cali. This delayed pick up by couple of days to discover the that fault was in a poorly plugged in module. Problem was gone after module was set correctly.

Disintegrated piston in my brother's Lexus at 400 miles or exploded fuel pump in my E55 Kompressor at exactly 600 miles.
Just bad luck.....
