Hi Folks,

I'm new to the forum and own a '15 S63 coupe. The release on the passenger side of the armrest was broken off when I purchased the car and I'd like to replace it but cannot find just that part anywhere. MB is quoting me $2K to replace the entire armrest. I found a used armrest online for a S550 of the same year but am unsure if the button can be removed. Any input would be appreciated.

you can explore it yourself. most everything can be taken apart. are you talking about the center console

It looks like the button is built into the lid, take a look at the underside pic. Maybe you can just unscrew the plastic bottom and swap them?

Thanks @Rosho That’s the armrest I’ve been looking at. Going to go for it and hope I can tease it apart.

The S classlid he is looking at doesn't have the embossed AMG logo like the S63

looks like it is glued togather. but maybe you can take some of it apart.
