tracking s63 coupe
hi, has anyone tried to track their s63. just went over the weekend and didn't really have much fun, also the windows and seat went up on its own when the car wasn't gripping. mine was a 2015. just want to know how were people's experience. thank you

MB’s of all kinds.
It’s going to be like commanding the Queen Mary... It’s far from a track car. With that being said that doesn’t mean you can’t take it and have some good fun with it.I would! Why not? Just do not expect to set records.

it's over 5000 lbs with driver, on air suspension
all S-Coupe are amazing cars for the road, but not for race track circuit. and if you do track it, don't expect the brakes to survive long. drag strip is another story - it's fine although don't expect shockingly fast time or speed in the 1/4 mi as the power-to-weight ratio isn't sufficient.

Not on airmatic. If you had the ABC you might have a bit more fun. Also, if you want to regularly do it. You've got to have someone bypass those nannies. Which might be extremely difficult and not worth it

Never heard of anyone tracking an S anything. Lots of weight there, can't imagine the stress on the car can be good. If the OP wants to have fun, a drag strip would be a lot easier.

Never tracked it but I went on a trip to the tail of the dragon in the Smokey’s with it for a couple days. My Vettes ecm took a dump 2 days before the trip so I had to take the Merc. I went in being so upset like my trip was ruined. The car far exceeded my expectations. For such a big and heavy car it ate up the road. I beat the **** out of it and it handled it well. Even my freinds with there bikes who tried driving it on the dragon were beyond impressed. If anything the awd coupled with the sport setting saved me a bunch of times as I got really stupid. It’s definitely not meant to be a track car but it does well considering it’s weight and size. The best part of it was i throw it in comfort, put on the massagers, turned up the air on the way back to Chicago and cruised home in luxury 😜

If you had the newer engine you would have a bit more fun on race mode, but it's not meant to be tracked like the GTs
