Was having dealers call to buy a 2019 F250 I owned and was getting consistent offers for a few grand over what I paid new. Anyway I found a 2015 S63 with 17k miles on it for not significantly more than what I could get trading the truck. My truck was perfect and I need to fix a couple minor things on the car but its a CPO with 2 extra years warranty and they put new tires on it and changed the oil.
I bought a set of black 10 spoke factory wheels (will sell whats on it anyone know the value, good shape no damages). I also want to put a Panamerica grill on it, LED ambient AC ducts, lowering kit, downpipes and tune. Anyone have any advice on all that? Also are the contitrac continentals reversable as I probably wore them pretty hard driving through the mountains on the way home (remember I am swapping rims).

Congrats on the new S-Class. We can help you with the aftermarket upgrades you mentioned. Your tires can be rotated side-to-side on the same axel.

Tore a little on the Panamerica grill but would like to differentiate the car some from the rest of the Mercedes on the road. Its definitely a sleeper as is.

I had to move pretty quick as trade values are about to drop. I ordered a similar truck to my trade and they gave me a good price (have to wait though).

@Guv'nor Curious about your views on trade values. What's driving the drop? Are you in the wholesale or retail auto business?
The wholesale business on heavy duty trucks is insane because of stimulus money and a major computer chip shortage stopping new production. They are just making them and putting them at the Kentucky raceway till chips come in (google it). I just got another email from a dealer that told me they can beat the KBB buy it now of $73k I got a couple weeks ago right on top of this thread notification.
Loved the truck its a really rare color combo (magma red paint was short lived). Has all the little hidden options ordered in the right combo. But 2.5 years old and 20k miles selling for almost 10k more than I bought it for.
I have another base model F250 and ordering another new one.

they have used s63 at least 10K but usually 20k above going prices. A year ago a car that was priced 79k is now 90 to 99k. So they will have to keep them because Im not playing that and i dont need one that bad
I am looking at the idea of tail of the dragon, BRP, Asheville, and that sort of trip. But I am still leery of the virus and now the gas shortage. One guy told me he went to 7 stations before he got gas, last week.
I didn’t have problems finding gas. Some stations were out and some only had regular or premium.
Didnt see more than a handful of people wearing masks out there. Not a concern of mine personally but do not shame anyone that wants to wear a mask.
Everything is overpriced I wouldn’t buy unless you trade. Watch for offleases next year?
Car was $84k and just rolled over 17k miles. The 3 year CPO warranty was around $4700. Doc fees $595. I strongly feel my truck is worth $55k on trade if there was no Covid aftermath factors.
There are no plans to make a new gen S coupe and the refresh wasnt a drastic change so maybe that is affecting value?
I am thinking about doing the whole front bumper now to the facelift one. I dont see the point in changing the rear as the older one actually mimics the contour of the new front bumper.
Do you also need to change the headlights?
Does the 18+ Bumper come in the carbon fiber like my 2015 carbon fiber package?

if you want to change, I would have a body shop do the work and order all MB parts. Dont ship all over the world and buy repro parts. Just order everything from a dealer. You can look at a car that has the options you want and use its vin # to order everything
