Got the best deal in the US
I think I got the best deal in the US on this car. I watched it for a couple months. It started on autotrader, then the MBUSA preowned site. it was at a MB dealer in Cleveland.
They started at $86K, then $82K, then $78, then $73K.
It said it was Palladian silver, but the pictures were flat black. I called them a couple months ago. and they said it had a wrap. I asked if they would take the wrap off? they didn't want to.
So I was afraid of the paint or some problems. It had 32K mi, it had almost all the options, it was a $193K car. And it already had alot of service done to it. And it has a new $8K Capristo valved exhaust, and a nearly new set of Michelins.
So I said I would have to come see it. I drove from fl to ohio, and it seemed to be all ok from my check out, and I had them do a couple things before I drove it. Came back to Asheville, the Blue Ridge Pkw, then to Robbinsville and the Tail, and the Cherohala Skyway. It ran perfect.
So I got it for $73k, and I came home and took all the wrap off. Ive never had a 7 year old car with such perfect paint. It looks new. I cleaned it in, under and through. I put the grill on it, and repainted the calipers red. I put my 10 spoke wheels on it. My BMC filters. I havent found anything wrong or anything that needed replacing.

Wow! Congrats!! That's a hell of a great deal. What MY is it? Care to list the options? Interior color?
A small piece of advice... Give it a full wrap of XPEL Ultimate (clear) and keep the perfect paint perfect (like my Iridium).

its a 15, 32k mi.
its Palladian and black.
It has everything except Swarovski, refrigerator, splitview, and cc brakes.
But Im not inclined to do the film. Ive had it on 5 cars. It cost more that it would cost me to repaint the panels.
And when it gets a nick, you cant do anything but replace it. Im going to take my chances.
Im going to do it on the front bumper only I think.

By the way, were using the Suntek films down here. They are a little cleared and last longer. This is a harsh hot climate. When I was taking that black wrap off my car, the driveway was 125+ degrees.
The film was so hot, I couldnt hold it with my hands. I had to wear mechanics gloves to hold onto it.

You got a great deal. Congratulations! I have Expel clear on my front bumper panel, rear view mirrors and headlights. You can't tell it's there; I hope it keeps the road chips away. Enjoy your new car!

The things that would've been a deal-breaker on this one (for me) would be the black interior and the lack of Speed Limit Assist. (I can't stand not having it now that I've used it for 50K miles.)

Thats a pretty fair price. They would be asking 90k for it around here with 30k miles on it.
I had to travel out of state to get mine too.
I think we stopped at the same place. Drove it from North Carolina to Tx.

Very nice car. Watch out for the fabric on the steering wheel (I forgot the technical name for it) Once it gets dirty its almost impossible to clean.

I just bought this one and it fits. Its good quality, its for S63 only.
The wheel is alcantera And its easy to clean. Get some 409 or fantastic, and bucket of hot water. Use a terri rag or towel and soak it, spray of soak the rag, Scrub the wheel, squeeze it and soak it wilt the mixture, and dry it with another towel.
It cleans and makes the fiber stand up. Its easy.
And this car had a burn mark so they replaced the wheel. Its new

Hello, im looking to get the capristo exhaust as well but im afraid of the drone when the valves are open. I have a custom exhaust right now but its droning in the cabin at 2000-2500 RPM range, especially on the highway. I was wondering, does your exhaust drone? And is it too loud in the cabin when the valves are open? Thank you!
