These pictures do not show up so well in the posting. I should have the car by Memorial day, I can take my own pictures then. My wife is anxious to try out the rear seat, says she may get me a chauffeur's hat.

Congrats on a truly beautiful beast. The S65 is seriously something else all thanks to that V12 under the hood! She looks really nice in black and I love the chrome accents on the bumper! Btw are these wheels specifically for the W222/C217 S65's?

Those are the standard wheels and I believe they are unique to the S65.
The next step will be to get it tuned. My 2006 really changed with the ECU reflash. With the 5 speed there was no hard coded torque limit for the tuners to deal with. What I am reading is the 7 speeds do have a hard limit that none of the tuners have cracked. The tunes increase the power but apparently not as much as on the 2006.
The color is Obsidian black with Designo silk beige/gray interior. This is a 2015. I gave up trying to find a new one in a color combination we liked. There are plenty with black interior but that was a non starter for us.

Thanks for the comments, we are anxious to get it. You are so right on the pricing, we saved about $80k over the price of a new one. The second thing we will do is buy the extended warranty.
We have the 7 year warranty on our 2009 SL600 and it just paid for a new oil cooler, motor mounts and assorted bushings and hoses. While the front subframe was dropped I had new plugs and boots/seals put in for just the price of the parts. All told about $8k of work under the warranty.
