I only went to look at a 2018 S63 2day and... bought it - Designo Grey/Blk

Thanks for everyone's threads about cars on this forum, and thanks to the dozen YouTube videos on this new 2018 S63, I decided to call my local dealer in Silver Spring MD a month ago to see if they had any to look at next to an E63. They said they had a one of a kind Designo Grey coming in, in 3 weeks. It was ordered for a customer in MATTE GREY but by accident Mercedes painted it in Designo Grey. The customer didn't want it so they were stuck with a unicorn, one of a kind car.
I ONLY went to the dealer to look at it, and fell in love with it. They gave me a good # on my 2012 Designo Grey S63 and I bought the car. It's the only new car I've ever bought for myself. I work 80-100 hours a week, no kids, no wife as of 8 years ago, no GF right now, house paid off, cars paid off, I thought I kind of deserved it yet of course felt guilty spending so much on a car. I'm just a regular guy in a regular sales job for a large telecom company.
YAY. I never, ever intended to buy it, I didn't think I could ever afford one until they were 3 years old but when I ran the #'s on keeping my car for 2-3 more years, and what this cost, I decided - F it, just get it. MSRP of $188385. No carbon ceramic brakes which I really wanted, but they're really rare to find on this car, used, anywhere. I think there's only 1 for sale now in the US with them on the car.
I didn't buy the Road Hazard,Tire/wheel Cosmetic damage package for the $2526 including the dent repair, windshield chip repair, key replacement benefit (seems high, should I just wing it and not get this? Shop around?) I also didn't get the maintenance paid in advance package for $2899 - they said the 3 services will cost $3600 if I just pay as I go so this is a "deal", and it could cost even more than that over the 3 years. I only bought the car.
They didn't sell a clear bra type solution either - is this necessary on a MB S63? I have it on my 911 Turbo S but ... do I really need it on this car? My 2012 looked fairly perfect after being 6 years old. There's a place in town that does this, my detail shop, or maybe somewhere else. Not sure I want to spend the money on this.
Thoughts?
Again, I LOVE this forum. It was because of you folks that this happened today. VERY GRATEFUL.

Hmmm, I still don't know what to do with EXPEL. I drive all over the place, I thought everyone did in these cars! I take road trips, drive in the city regularly... I'm SO careful with my car. My 2012 didn't have any wrap on it all and the MB paint looked new after it was 6 years old. All I do to wash it is spray it with water ever few days and wipe it down with w microfiber cloth (a few of them). I know, this isn't optimal, but everyone that looked at it thought it looked new all the time. I'm lazy and don't have time to really detail it with soap buckets of water, etc, every week so I just spray it down really well.
If I do EXPEL, only on the front whole hood, front end, mirrors and... ???
Certainly not the whole car, right? How much should this cost, the method I suggested with the front and mirrors?
Trending Topics
The quote I was given:
Full Car Coverage (all the exterior painted and carbon fiber areas are covered for the ultimate in protection)
$6200
Full Nose (full hood/fenders + front bumper + headlights + backs of mirrors) - Most popular option
$2200
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The selling dealer sold me their full front xpel for 3k, but I made them front the cost for compensation on the vehicle which required attention and horrible communication on the entire staff. Its a personal choice, but the xpel has saved me one huge ding already on the hood. It covered the lower bumper, full hood, headlights, side mirrors, and full fenders. I think they skipped the A-pillar though.

Also, I ended up buying from my original dealer (not the dealer that sold me the car) a 5 year wheel and tire warranty including dent repair, key replacement if lost or broken or something like that for $3k. He said one wheel is like $2400 or $2800 so... well, I already did it so that's that. Just charged it on my AMEX. The dealer I bought the car from only offered the same warranty for 3 years and it's only through them, not near as good a deal.
And... he said to bypass the prepaid maintenance BUT he said if I plan to keep the car "forever" like I'm planning to do, he can sell me (if I buy it within the next 30 days) a 10 year/100 mi warranty with I think... a zero deductible. I believe he said it's a certified warranty? I can't remember, I was in a hurry to get out of there. He said if I wait 4 years to buy it the price now for that is $7100 but in 4 years that price will probably go up.
Would you buy this 10/100K mile warranty for $4500? I'm not sure. What if I decide to not keep in 4 years, I think I lose like 40% of that cost or something like that. I do plan on keeping it a very very long time but I said the same thing about my 2012, and only kept it 3 years. But... I do PLAN on keeping it 10 years.
I have a few more weeks to obsess about this.

why did he advise against the prepaid maintenance?
would love to see some daylight pics and sound video on that rig.

. As far as a sound video, it's relatively quiet compared to my 2012. It's fine... I just love the interior so much with all the "pretty colors". Last night my friends drove in it and said it's the most comfortable car they've ever rode in the back of. We figured out how to make the top pink and the bottom purple. That should go over well when I have a 3rd date next weekend with a new woman I met. I'm picking her up (she's never seen my car (s)) and taking her to downtown DC to see museums and do dinner.Maybe she'll find the discoteque interior kind of light and fun. It's a perennial party inside that car, and that made it worth the cost of admission. Another friend said "I'm worried about how much you spent on that car and trip to the S Pole recently - you won't have enough to retire on now". Friends say and think the most damndest things. You only live once. I'll be OK. I plan to work till I'm 75, not 65, anyway.
I'll try to get outdoor pics in front of houses like this, a few blocks away

. Enjoy the dinner in DC but make sure to avoid the pot holes - I have killed two tires on my car on one pot hole.

The EXPEL ULTRA that I"m doing on Wednesday AM is for the front of the car and the whole hood, not the whole car. $1450 for the front, lights, fenders, the usual.... instead of $2200 and then $650 for the cermamic/glass treatment for the car and wheels and stuffl. Less than $2200 AND I get that glass like coating stuff, whatever the heck that is. It's all good. I put pink on the top half of the lighting now and purple on the bottom half, multicolor. So funky. Sounds lame but it's actually like a 70's discotheque in there now. I'll rock this color scheme for a while till I change back to blue.
Now if I can only figure out how to use the disturbingly complicated NAV system. I finally figured out how to enter an address but the part that say "START NAVIGATION" or whatever it's called is greyed out. Whoever designed this new nav is an idiot! My car was so easy to use but this new car is a mystery to me. One day... I'll figure it out. One day. I refuse to crack open the book to figure it out. Totally stubborn sometimes. I have yet to go back to the dealer to go over the features on the car. Within the next month I'll do this.
