S63 vs E63 S
I'm planning to join the AMG family and currently driving 2015 S550. I talked to a salesman about buying S63 AMG, 2018 however, he told me if having extra room is not an issue, is better to get the E63 S. The engine and transmission is the same and is almost as comfortable as the S63. How accurate is this comment? He also told me that there is more room for the discount on E63 S compared to the S63. Please help me make a right decision.
Thank you,

The E63s comes with standard or performance seats so the feel maybe different based on which setup you will test drive.
We have the E63s launch edition which has the performance seats. It’s fun to drive, it’s more agile than the S and definitely the faster car. While it has all the nappa leather trimmings, the S-class is more luxurious.
In terms of discounts, around here the S-class has bigger discounts than the E but this may vary by region.

I am not sure if you are buying or leasing but be prepared for high depreciation and high lease rates. Nothing like the deeply discounted prices/rates of the 2015 S550...

. I LOVE my S63 and it's the 3rd one I've had. I had a 2012 before this one. What color combo were you looking at? Are you going to get it? This community makes ownership 10X better than not having this community.

You guys have some great discount, I paid 189k including 10k mark up. Now theres that. Price, then options, then what you want in your car. I was pretty happy with my obs blk/blk nappa with carbon fiber. I just wish it came with the right rear foot rest for that "look at what this car has!" that I will never use.

$20k+ is below invoice, here in Chicago dealers won't budge, they don't have cars available anyway.
