Heated steering wheel retro fit
Is it possible to retro-fit a heated steering wheel into a 2014 S63?

You sure you don’t have it? On distronic switch turn lil knob clockwise, on my car I have half wood and only bottom leather part heats, do you have heated armrest and console for front and back? Think it was comfort package .

It’s says that it was option 443;, hard to believe that wasn’t included , but my heated steering wheel only heats about a 1/3 of it , so maybe the all leather heats more so You may be disappointed if you go with a wood one if you go that route .

So the dealer quoted me a price of four grand just for the steering wheel (part only). This doesn't include labor or any of the other wiring modules and switches that need to be changed. Apparently only wood steering wheels are available with heater option in 2014, but these only get warm on the wooden parts not the entire wheel, which negates much of the benefit of a heated steering wheel.
In other words I'm happy I own a pair of nice warm gloves lol.

Its actually easier than you think. Pick up the steering with all the options, then go get a used steering column to match. plug in play. I looked at the costs and it is about $1500 for me to install myself.

On my 14' the heated wheel turns on by rotating the end of the column adjuster, not the distronic lever. It's leather/dinamica

Just heard from from my SA, Mercedes offered a heated wheel retro fit kit for W221's but not for W222's.
