Changed out my wheels and tires for the winter. Polarizing to say the least and not for everyone. They are OEM and originally came from a new S680 Maybach.
Love it, how much do those wheels weigh? They just look heavy. I've had 2 generation of Mono's on my cars.... MB's and monoblocs go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Again, thanks all. I did order DINAN 6mm spacers for the rear. The Maybach wheel offset causes the wheel to sit 3mm inboard from the OEM AMG wheels. The 6mm will allow the wheels to sit 3mm from the OEM set-up.
Now I want a W222 S63 Sedan in addition to a 2020 S63 Coupe. Would keep those new Kicks year round On Treks from an imagined Bowery Art Studio to my Lush "Ghetto" Estate in the Hills near Lime Rock as if I was Sam Posey. Would have a Brick Oven S!ice and Lobster Roll on the same Damn Day!
i am mad at you. WHY NOT THE BLACK!!! These wheels look amaizng on this car. How is the drive quality? Can you push the car without compromise? I want to get the black version of these but its like 2k per wheel.... You might be ballin but I budgeted myself around 12k total including tunes, downpipes. Might need to increase my budget or win the lottery. Amazing look!
Hi MB007AM, no discernible deterioration in ride quality. I am able to still push the car around twisties to the degree that the Hankook All Seasons (standard issue on original Maybach S680 from which these came from) can handle them. I am able to get 28.5 mpg (90% highway at 70mph), as I recently did from my home to Foxwoods Casino in CT. I paid $3800 for these new take-off wheels, including new tires, OE TPMS, and center caps. I may have them painted satin black with polished lips down the line to match the black trim/carbon fiber.

Can you please let me know in PM where you got them? That is an amazing deal for 3800 (if it includes tires too)!
And good idea on painting them w/ the polished lip but hopefully you make sure they color match it exactly. I know you said satin black but it may not match the trim black. But if it does... that's a gorgeous beat you have. Black, carbon fiber, white and chrome.... perfect. I think contrasting is coool and all but if you are able to bring 4 trims together? That is another level of beauty. Brings me joy that you did not go the blacked out everything route. Too basic.
Good luck with everything, excited to see you post as you use the car over the years.
