Been a while since I was here, New to me S63
Been a while since I was on this forum. Sold my 2008 CL63 back in 2017 and spent some time in Corvette world.
New to me 2020 S63. Car is a starship. only 26K on the odometer.
Anything in particular to watch out for. My experience with the 2008 CL63 was so so (No warranty and many things going bad).
Got 4 yr 60K mile warranty on this one, should be good.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Rear main seal seems to pop up when the car is not driven a lot for some reason. Supposedly, driving it pretty hard for a while clears out the catch can passages that create the crankcase back pressure. Unfortunately most warranties do not cover oil leaks so it is kind of russian roulette.

you wait for it to leak ... by that point it's too late - nothing preventative to do unfortunately... about a $5000 repair (up to $9000 quoted by dealers)
