2017 W222 S63 Pre Safe Functions Failure in Heavy Rain
I have a 2017 W222 S63 and anytime there's a lot of water on the freeway due to have rains, I get the following error messages: Pre Safe Functions Failure, Distronic Plus Currently available.
The error messages go away once the car is turned off then back on.
The dealer claims that they can't fix the problem because they can't replicate it.
Any ideas on where they should look to fix the problem?

Unfortunately, this is normal, heavy rain/snow will cause it to go down from time to time and return to service when it clears up. I haven't come across any threads or info with a solution, I was considering something hydrophobic like a rain-x product on the glass/sensor covers but it hasn't been enough of an issue to be on the top of the to try list. If you do try it out or come across a solution please report back.

Benzninja had done a *thorough scan of my car recently and no module errors stored. Its essentially the sensors going out of service due to the weather conditions which will re-activate once the weather clears, not a module/hardware error.
