after market remote start?
anyone in houston texas that can install a remote start on my car. Mbrace said they no longer offer this service for my year. yet they had no problem charging me for a year.

That system is one of the most confusing systems I've encountered anywhere. Nobody knows what is actually available. I think they made mid year changes practically every year so there are all kinds of inconsistencies. Have you already downloaded the app and tried to perform remote start?

It's entirely possible that the Mercedes Me / Mbrace coverage for this vehicle is among the coverages that are no longer available due to the 3G cell data network going away, since so many of these vehicles were equipped with 3G capable telematics devices.

I had professional installation of MidCity unit in my 2016 S63: works very well! MidCityEngineering.com
Also did BlackVue front/rear dashcams done: highly recommended! Blackvue.com
Installer (I'm in Bay Area of CA) told me prior M-B software didn't handle cellular upgrade to 5G...
i miss putting address or destination in phone app, then downloading to car's GPS, but I was told there's no aftermarket soft/hardware to replace this OEM feature...
