Wishing you the best of luck on this!! In network is similar to medicine, just because you hve two clinics, they might not be part of the same network. I have no idea if yours is the same or not, but just because it's at a MD dealer doesn't mean it's within the same network. With cars, it's most likely not. If both are Autonation dealerships then you're 100% golden. But when not in network, it's like anybody else buying something. New cars are different. I'm just letting you know so you don;t think somebody is feeding you a bunch of crap or trying to make it hard on you.

car still at dealership, parts just came in, took around 1.5 months, hopefully will be finished then sent back to bodyshop for body work. Can you link me to other member post?

Parts finally came in yesterday (all of them). Was waiting for one additional part. I have been car less for almost 4 months now. Can't even find any certified s63's near me to purchase, rare car now.
We gave up on ours, let them total it, and am only driving my 2022 911 Turbo S now for like... 6 mos to a year until the 2025 S63's (used) are 1 year old and then hope to scoop one up at a nice discount with the carbon ceramic gold colored brakes. We got exactly $76k for our 2018 S63 totaled car and now, after much reflection, it felt like we traded it in to a dealer. I can't think that it was totaled and that biotch hit us and ruined our car as it was killing me to think so.
I can't wait to get a 2025, 1 year old and it's fun only driving the 911. We drove and looked at every car out there, the Audi S8, The BMW 7, the regular S Class 580, none compare for us, to the new S63. And not having to clean the 3rd car is nice. 2 cars has been so easy for the past few months.

man it's extremely difficult for me for buy a hybrid amg. It's a nice car, fast af too, but can't for the love of me buy a hybrid s class, especially for 200k
I hear ya, we're now looking for a 2019 or 2020 S63 AMG instead. The 2025 will depreciate $100k or so in 3 years, a total loss of money. The 2020 will depreciate so much less and I LOVE the 2020's or 2019's so much more. I found one with less than 9000 miles last night for $102k, the lowest mileage one in the US but it's a beige interior and we only want black interior. We will keep looking over the next year till we find one. If anyone is selling one with low miles, let me know.

100%. 2019, 2020 best s63 ever made. Mine is a 2019. Would definitely consider a 19 or 20 s65 if you can find one in good condition, maybe even a s65 final edition.

That scares me. My S63 is my daily driver; I'd be really upset to be without it for 137 days like you. Have they provided an updated timeframe or anything??

Take it from experience, you do not want your high end car at a dealership for repair. Can't comment on independent shops, though. Parts still going through back order, and it takes months. Took 3 months for my parts to come in (came in 1.5 months but was defective, then 1.5m later re-ordered). Suspension got fixed, now back at bodyshop. They should be done this week and it'll be sent back to the dealership for sensor calibration. Afterwards, back to bodyshop for detail. All in all, roughly $37,000 in repairs, ~ 5 months return time if no other surprises come. I'm numb at this point, first 3 months pissed the fk off constantly. Overall, after the destruction of LA and all the crap that is happening, car troubles are the least of my worries. People lost homes and livelihoods, worse problems. They evacuated us, we didn't leave, fire direction went other way.

We will keep looking but 3 mos in, it's starting to get pretty beat. There's just nothing for sale with the options we had before, and we were hoping to find an S63 with the gold carbon ceramic brakes but that is a needle in a haystack so that's not imperative at this point. Fortunately I have a fun little car to drive as my second car and it's been meeting my needs for 3 mos.
I sometimes think, just get a new BMW X5 instead or an Audi S8 (new or 1 year old) or a 2022 last year of the BMW 760i 12 cyl but... in the end, the MB S63 is "more me".

I totally understand about the steering wheel, thanks to your guidance I didn't make the mitake of going for the more "popular" fuzzy steering wheel. It took me close to a year, with 6 mos of intense/daily searches, to find my S63. I wound up overpaying a little to get all the options I wanted, and still settled for colors that I didn't want. Options and service history were my primary prorities, in that order, with milage being next. I wanted blue or silver with a light interior and wound up with all black interior and white paint. But it was worth the concessions for me.

Since mine has been in the shop for almost 6 months,I've only seen maybe one or two w222 s63 in all of Los Angeles. Rly wonder why they are so hard to find. They had 3y productions. Hopefully will get my car back next week.

What package is it that gives the diamond stitch on the dashboard?
On the S63/S65 "Nappa Leather" is standard, which doesn't have the diamond stitching. Option codes: 851,855,864,865,818
Both upgrade packjages come with diamond stiching in all colors, they are "Exclusive Nappa Leather" and "Designo Exclusive Semi-Analine Leather"
I can't say I've ever seen the "Semi-Analine" on an S63, maybe once on an S65 adn once on an S560. But I've seen it frequently on the Maybachs, it might even be standard on Maybachs.
