Brake pad & rotor combination for AMG S63 W222

I wanted to share my studied combination for all new rotors and brake pads for my AMG S63 W222

RACING BRAKE ROTOR KIT PART# 2237 & 2357 PRICE $3000 NOTE: These are lighter than OEM less rotating mass = quicker acceleration
RACING BRAKE STEEL BRAIDED BRAKE LINES PART# RBL-022 PRICE $172.00
EBC PADS "RED STUFF" PART# DP31939C & DP32350C TOTAL PRICE $310
MOTUL RBF 700 ( HIGH BOILING TEMP ) PRICE $34.00 X 3 = $102

I will install and follow up with a review but i'm pretty confident this is a excellent combination over OEM BREMBO especially cost wise.

I hope this information helps fellow members

How do the rotors achieve less weight (material, dimension, construction)? Any wear life expectation?

Few questions for you.
Sounds like your primary motivation was weight savings. How much performance do you expect to gain?
Pretty costly, but looks like the rotor ring is replaceable. Is there any chance the replacememnt ring fits on the OEM rotor hat?
Why the upgraded lines and fluid? Do you track your car, or plan to?
What about brake squeal and brake dust? Do either of those matter to you, and if so, what do you expect?

Weight savings is ALWAYS the goal and let's face it our cars are ORKAS on land but all the little things add up at the end of the day.
Costly in comparison to OEM yes but not 3rd party in my opinion.
The upgraded lines are due based on mileage in my head but im a little **** about things. Besides the new braided lines will provide better feel . And i do visit the dragstrip often with my car.
Brake squeal will not be an issue im sure and brake dust from the EBC 'red stuff" will not be as bad as OEM brake pad dust.

These Rotors are comparable and might save you a few bucks. Also, I would highly recommend the Powerstop Z23/Z25 pad combo for your car. Same performance as OEM pads and no dust.

I actually looked at the product and company and decided against the purchase because some consistent Google reviews which made me a little nervous. And there contact # and address of the company was a little sketchy to me.

Looks like the RB discs are around 12lbs lighter than the factory units. Good to know on the Paragon brakes.

Yes definitely lighter than OEM for sure. Yes Paragon has no direct business line number which made me uneasy. RB was easier to work with also.

Looking forward to your review. If you're up for it, please take some pictures of the installation process. Good luck!!

UPDATE: I returned the EBC REDSTUFF pads and opted for the POWERSTOP Z23 pads. Reasons are the consistent reviews on the POWERSTOP Z23 pads have zero to very minimal brake dust. The EBC REDSTUFF are very, very good pads no doubt and has a little more stopping power than the Z23 but they do produce some brake dust build up although not as bad as OEM BREMBO PADS. So i will be sacrificing a little bit of stopping power and im ok with that. ALSO ...there is a $204.00 price difference between them !!!!!!

Are the Z26 compatible to the Z25? Would you recommend ceramic or semi metallic?
