Weird clunking noise from all 4 tires
Hey everyone,
I have a 2015 S63 4Matic, and there’s this weird sound from all 4 tires, could be the suspension not sure at all but sounds like its from the suspension area.
The noise starts when i start driving around for a bit and especially if I drive hard it begins sooner. The noise is even there after I turn off the vehicle, it doesn’t affect ride or performance, just the noise is weird and annoying.

You are driving a 5000lb car hard in a hot climate, correct? That is the sound of very hot brake rotors cooling/contracting. Try driving very gently for the last few miles to cool everything down before you stop.

the car makes this sound wether i drive hard or slow, but yes it does make this sound quicker and more when I drive hard.
I wonder how loud these are gonna be in summer when its 50°C/122°F.
And it honestly seems like the sound is from the suspension rather than the rotors. I could be wrong though

Well get it up in the air and find out. Don't rely on strangers and cell phone vids to troubleshoot your car for you. There is no replacement for standing under the car yourself - this should be very easy to investigate.

I do not know about the CCB, but I would doubt it. It would not happen to the same extent every day, so perhaps it was the temps, or maybe during heavy stop and go - I don't recall. Attempting to buy another one at the moment, so I will let you know if I have new info : )

My 222 S-65 with CCB doesn’t make noise from brakes when parked. I park it with cool to hot brakes. When the car wakes up after sitting overnight; suspension (Magic Body Control) will make little noises as it sniffs the key approaching.
I figure the car is just excited to get going.
