Last week I traded my 2016 S550 with 80k pampered miles for this one owner 2019 S63 with just under 5k miles. Car is really nicely optioned with a $180k build sheet, and was owned by a Dr used at the winter country club home in Nevada.
Had my MB SA pull the service history which showed maintenance was prepaid and done at MB dealer annually, most recently a couple months ago for the 6/60 when it also got new tires. Clean carfax. Condition is like new, with no wrinkles on the driver seat and full PPF on the entire front end, fenders, hood and mirror caps.
Option highlights are 3D sound, night vision, designo flowing lines trim with the extra on doors and seat backs, W&C, exclusive nappa, and black split spoke wheels/red calipers. The good doctor clearly loved this car, and maybe only drove it when taking more than 2 people prevented driving an exotic lol
I pondered this upgrade for years, and the difference from my well loved 550 makes me feel not worthy! It’s also the brother car in color and trim to my wife’s GLE63, so now we have matching his and hers AMG.
Nice car and spec. I have a very similar 2019 S63 with most of the same options. Picked mine up in 2021 when it had 9K miles on it. Traded in my 2015 S550 for it as well. It has been an awesome car and I now have around 47K miles on it. I would highly recommend an aftermarket warranty on this car as it is known to have some potential issues. Most notably the OVS and RMS leak issues. My RMS leaked at 45K miles and it was north of 10K at the dealer to fix. The alternator also failed and that was another 4K. Both of these covered by my Fidelity warranty. Other than that it as been tires and brakes only along with oil changes.

Very nice ride OP. Optioned nicely but I don't see it as a Unicorn. CCB's would have been the cherry on top but the red calipers do look good.
You made a good choice in finding a '19 as that is the last MY that will continue to be supported by the MercedesMe app.
Although the '18 is included in the "facelift", it is left behind with the older version of MercedesMe and MB will stop supporting the app at the end of this month.
So the '19 and '20 MY W222 are the last of the great S Class that will continue with all of the installed tech (at least for now).

I agree Trent, these cars are the best of the W222 line. I’m not interested in a W223, so to me this was the best choice to upgrade/update my S after looking at quite a few over the years.

I love the specs on that car, especially the flowing lines interior trim. I have a 2018 S63 white ext and black interior. The black is nice because it hides wear and tear really well, but it's a little too dark in the cabin, those flowing lines add a nicve visual touch.
Thanks Carlos. I had never seen the flowing lines trim in person until now, but thought it looked great in pics of the occasional coupe or cabrio with it.
My S550 had black interior with the poplar wood and silver exterior. For this time around, and shopping used, I wasn’t too picky on colors asides from not wanting black. More so focused mileage, condition, and options.
