There are WAAAAAYYY more 43's being sold than 63's in the C class lineup, so from a sales point, it makes sense.
Most people want the AMG look without actually caring about the big V8 or 500+hp. Just like BMW will all the M-tech cars they sell. A sportier bumper costs them no more to produce than a basic one, but they charge thousands extra and call it an appearance package. Solid business model.
GT43 will not be sold in USA. This cares for rest of the world that cannot have big motors but want the car. Kind of like the GLE350D coupe or estate diesels.
