New here. Test drove the 2021 model yesterday and thinking of ordering the 2022 model. I saw the order guide and I am not sure if it is already in production. Anybody with experience on how long it takes for a new order? Any tips of making an order before I visit the sales guy? Thanks in advance.

Probably looking at a March delivery for a new order. Production started this month of MY22.
I made my order for the GT53 and below is my status. My understanding is B4 means 2 days until production completes. However, the production date is 1/24/2022. Anybody can help me understand what is the actual status?
No idea on shipping information but just received an email from my dealer today that my 43 is pushed to late February, maybe later. It was expected this month. Good luck! Keep us posted...
Unfortunately, after less than 4 months owning this, I will be parting ways with my GT53. MB have offered to purchase back the vehicle at full price. I have been having intermittent issues with the parktronic system where it beeps when I slow down to less than 10mph even there is nothing surrounding my vehicle. Took my car in several times. First, they replace the sensor on the rear bumper. Then they replace the parktronic module. Then MB headquarters asked them to replace a cable behind the rear bumper. It gotten better but not completely gone. Service is asking me to bring it back to replace another sensor. I am done.
Looking at BMW now, maybe the M8.
Well, test drove the M850 and Panamera, but I still love the GT 53. I re-ordered the same car today. Only difference is I remove the fixed panaroma roof and added soft close door (both the M850 and Panamera I test drove had it and my wife loves it). Still on the fence on panorama roof. Not sure what you guys think about it. The downside is it is it cannot be opened.
Have an October build scheduled and hopefully will be here by Christmas.
