I am confused about the color combo for the GT 53 that I plan to order. My end goal besides enjoying the car for a year is to ensure that the combination has a good resale value.
I have a choice of 2 colors that I have narrowed down.
MANUFAKTUR Selenite Grey Magno with Black or Grey wheels
MANUFAKTUR Graphite Grey Magno with Black or Grey wheels
In addition, would you suggest getting any other options that would make the car hold a better value than not having that option?
If you feel there is another better color combo to look at (not paying a premium for MANUFAKTUR colors), please advise.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Not sure how I feel about the Graphite with Saddle interior. But I do think the red or black interior looks good with grey wheels. If I had that saddle interior I'd go for a white or black car.
Thanks... I read the forums on the effort required to maintain Magno/matte paint. Plus have to get a PPF on it.
Hence narrowed down to go with either the regular Graphite grey (NON-Magno) or Diamond white
Either color with a night package and red interior.
If it were up to me, I'd order Selenite Magno with Red Pepper interior but you didn't offer that choice. IMO, Graphite is too dark in matte finish and I'm not a fan of that particular brown interior.
I've had a magno paint and it was such a pain in the rear to keep it looking awesome.
and the fact that I couldn't go through the carwashes real quick really bugged me.
so I went with Silver with pepper red for my GT53 this time. then I Xpel Satin PPF her to give the satin/matte look.
and it's completely safe from scratches & stone chips. I just go through my local carwash everyday with my monthly membership.
for the Pepper red interior. do be mindful. the red is a lot more "orangey" in real life than the pictures show.
it's def not red like GLC's "Cranberry red" that red is more the typical red.
"Pepper red" really very much closer to a good mix of dark orange in real life. if the dealership has one, go take a look before you decide.

I've had a BMW with factory matte
and my GLC was a Magno.
both finishes, I absolutely loved it, but they are sooooooooo much pain in the butt to keep it clean. also, inevitably, I got the finish slightly scratched or stone-chipped over the years. and it would drive me nuts.
so when I got my GT53 and GLS580, I didn't bother ordering the factory matte. and just went with Xpel Satin PPF. that way, I get paint protection film benefits and I get to just go use machine wash without worrying about the wax.

do think about the Pepper Red twice.
It really surprised me when the car got delivered. it's not my fav shade of red. that's for sure.
it's really got a bunch of orange tint when you see it in person. personally, I'm not going to order another in Pepper Red.
I bought the SL 63 AMG in Alpine Grey with black interior. Aside from how gorgeous this combo looks, it is #1 in resale (even more than obsidian black, surprisingly). However, a suggestion to this and all other enthusiast car communities. DO NOT buy the Manufaktur matte colors - none of them! Matte is the absolute worst paint in the world, bar none. It cannot be wet sanded, nor compounded, nor even polished or waxed. You will ruin the paint! If you do get a scratch the only solution is to paint THE CAR - not the panel but the entire car, as matte paint is near impossible to computer match color. There are matte maintenance products but they do not remove scratches. Auto car washes are totally out - even brushless washes. All of the blogs online that say these things are accurate - my detailer is a paint god and his advice is sound: if you really want a matte finish (and they do look really boss, I admit), then buy a conventional gloss paint with traditional clear coat and wrap the car in matte wrap. A simple wrap will be much less than a repaint and preserve resale value.
