for '22, I understand that there are a new wheel design and some color combos offered. and the biggest change is the steering wheel.

22 models have a new steering wheel.
I think 22 models also had options to get red calipers or the silver.
Not aware of any differences beyond that.

on a same size display, the CarPlay on COMMAND is full screen with wide aspect ratio.
on MBUX, for whatever reason, Mercedes decided to not utilize the full screen and it's narrow aspect ratio. I lose so much map real estate space using Waze or GoogleMaps.
I might be the minority opinion, but I'm not sure if MBUX does anything better or extra over COMMAND, other than it looks new/sexier.

In some strange ways, I actually prefer the COMMAND system over MBUX, as an Apple CarPlay user.
on a same size display, the CarPlay on COMMAND is full screen with wide aspect ratio.
on MBUX, for whatever reason, Mercedes decided to not utilize the full screen and it's narrow aspect ratio. I lose so much map real estate space using Waze or GoogleMaps.
