Wind Noise in my 2023 GT53 at over 65 mph?

2023 GT53 AMG, picked up car yesterday with 9 miles on the ODO, while driving back home (200 miles) noticed whistling wind noise at more than 65 mph coming from the drivers side window (glass fully rolled up) and pretty horrible at 70 mph and above. Any feedback on fix? do I have to take it to the dealer?

I saw another thread on acoustic glass install and how it may have solved the problem - any idea if this is a common problem and the dealer will do it?

The thread you already read was probably the best information on this. I added the acoustic glass package to my order after reading that thread. Since your car is new and on warranty, obviously start with your service department.

I would bet it's the little triangular pieces at the front corner of the window. Try pressing them hard when you hear the wind noise....see if that temporarily fixes it (meaning it should go away while you press it....but will come back once you let go). Assuming it does, I think they have to replace the seal behind that triangular piece. That is what they did on both of my front windows....

There is a service bulletin out for this, as well.....I think it's a pretty common issue in these cars.

if someone can post a copy of the service bulletin or provide me with the number then this will be a much easier discussion with the dealer next week. Really appreciate it!

My car was worked on by the dealer and they supposedly did what they were supposed to do under the TSB but now the noise seems to be have increased. I dont know but I am getting really frustrated!

OP, did they say the noise might be coming from the side mirrors, did the repair order at least tell you where they thought the sound might be from or where they confirmed the sound is coming from?
