A pleasure to meet you all. I recently purchased a 2019 GT63s as my daily. I was hoping to get some guidance and advice from the owners and admirers.

Initial Questions:

What are the best bang for the buck mods you can make to the car?
What are known/common problems?
Respected tuning company/ upgrade makers?
Is there a recommended service schedule?
Any threads that are recommended to read, please send.

Also, does anyone know how to turn off the auto/ start/ stop?

Audio system amplifier upgrade

Mechanical items:

I dont know when the plugs where done so I am going to change plugs and coils on the car next week.

Oil vapor separator failure combined with related rear main oil seal failure is somewhat common. Read W213 AMG site for very long thread and details.

Anyone know an ECU tune or Tuner in LA, that can delete the AutoStart/ Stop feature?

Just did a long drive with open road in Sport+....That was very different than Sport.

 

look up "BenzNinja" here on the forums, i believe he could flash/code to disable the autostart/stop feature.

 

Hi Gents,

First drama of ownership. Walked out to the car hissing. I am now lowriding on the driver side front tire. Seeing a malfunction suspension car too low warning on the screen. Taking it to a tech tomorrow. Ordering a the OBD2 device that reads MB.

Let's see what this turns out to be. Definitely not at RS4 problemo.

 

uh oh a leaking airbag for the air suspension.

 

Confirmed it is the front left air strut. Currently not available. As this part is on all GT63S from 19-25, does anyone know how long it takes MB to restock these parts? They are still making them for the new cars.

AIR Suspension UPDATE:

www.aerosus.com had the part. Ordered the PAIR for less than OE single. Once it arrives and is installed will give updates on performance and functionality. I am disappointed MB doesnt give any guidance on when a still in use key component will be back in stock. WTF.

 

preach! It's a well known issue - w212 guys can't find airmatic suspension parts easily and absurdly not at all for wagon models

MB doesn't give AF about customers after they buy a car.

 

Sure seems like it! For dealers service is where they make their money, they should provide parts to support those businesses. Please share the aerosus site with the w212 guys, hopefully they have what they need.

Hopefully my car is back next week will send an update

 

let us know when you actually have the part in hand and that it's up to your standards and seems like the accurate part. There's been a couple of these websites that took the money, promised Delivery, but either something incorrect or used was delivered or was never delivered at all.

 

UPDATE. Parts delivered and installed. "Car raising came on the screen" but the bags did not inflate. No fault codes being indicated on scanner. No errors on height sensors. Is there a hard reset that must be done for the vehicle to recognize a new part?

Parts quality per my independent tech looked as good as OE. I will see old parts tomrorrow and advise

Air Suspension Update.

Car lifted with a little steering wheel movement. No longer "slammed". Used the raise feature and the car moved up on all 4 corners. Moved into sport plus mode and the car started to lower itself. Parts looked similar and of same quality as OEM. If I could get the pics to post I would.
