We have owned 1980 MB 300SD since 1990 and it is still used in the family.
I bought 2010 VW Sportwagen TDI about three years ago and now that the VW emission fiasco is close to being agreed on in the courts decided last week to buy 2008 E320 Bluetec with about 122,500 miles, in order to beat what I expect will possibly be a rush of few thousand of previous VW TDI owners looking for used Diesel cars this winter and next year.
The E320 appears to be in very good condition and I am just doing routine maintenance and checking it out while waiting for the shop manuals etc. to arrive.
No dipstick/no tube 722.9 7G-tronic transmission came as a bit of a surprise but I have recovered (found very useful information on this forum by johnand) and am waiting for oil change parts etc. and a motive power pump to arrive in few days.
Looking forward to sharing and finding some good information on this forum!
Hello out there in cyber-land, I've owned several Mercedes in the past but not for about ten years so it's safe to say that I'm way behind. So I am a MBWorld Newbie.
We just purchased a low mileage 2010 E-350 and it seems to be up to the standard I first experienced with a 450 SEL and later a 420 SEL in the eighty's. The question I have concerns the faded burled walnut trim and any options that I may have to correct this minor flaw.
I had an S55 but was in an accident last month and i was totaled. It was my third MBZ.
I am looking at several models as a replacement. I loved the size and performance of my S55. I am not wedded to an S or a sedan. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Hi new member here from the UK. Ive had a couple MBs in the past (ML 350, SLK 55 AMG) but thought I would finally join up! Im collecting a C63 in a few days time and cannot wait :-)
Hi I'm Chris just purchased a salvaged 2014 glk. Have it most of the way back together. Have some questions about the Ac lines to the condenser. Has anyone ever removed the male pins from the lines? I purchased an aftermarket condenser that is correct but does not have the holes for the male pins
