Traded in my 1998 BMW 740i for this 2006 ML500 4Matic w/Luxury and Appearance packages. She has 148,000 miles and air suspension...but I liked the fact that it was a one owner and had 45 service records on carfax...all being done at the Mercedes dealerships in the two cities in California and Nevada that they lived in.
For being 10 years old I'm happily surprised at the quality of interior...looks like no one even touched the buttons
hey sorry but i have a question, im new to all this. Yesterday i was bumped by another car in my front hood. which caused my front hood to dent a bit. but my front grill is all smashed and no good. what is the name of the part that holds the grill cover. the grill cover has some clips that clip on to something "thats what im tryna find out, the name of that part." that is also connected to the hood of the car. Any help would be good. by the way my car is a C240 2005 4matic.

Hello! I am Mimi McKeever outside of Dallas, Tx. Ron Groboski is my spouse. He refuses to modernize(!). We have two problems. One is a 2002 MB 55 AMG convertible. I interrupted the compute when lowering the top. I need to get the procedure to re-program the top. The light flashes when activated. Everything else checks out.
The second problem is much bigger. As a very small dealer we buy, sell and are familiar with diesels etc. however, Ron bought a 2010 MB Sprinter at dealer auction in Maryland to use to move adult child back to Texas. It made the trip with no problem. However, the "starts" warning was not understood = ignored. The DEF Blue was full. So now it is a yard ornament dead. The last 5 starts were used! Can the ScanSoft 280 scan re-set the computer?

Maybe you should look for competent body shop which has experience working on Mercedes cars and get an estimate?
They should also be able to say what the parts are called.
Just saying hi - now a Mercedes owner for the first time, and became a double-owner very quickly: bought a CPO '14 ML350 a couple of weeks ago, and a week later, acquired a '10 E350 Sport as well! So, I'm jumping into this insane world headfirst I guess... and loving it!
Hi, currently driving my C Class Estate which I've had new from eight years ago. And before that a CLK which I had for ten. Both totally enjoyable and reliable motors. So I hope my new GLC which I will collect in three weeks time will not disappoint. I've read some iffy posts on this forum re gear change software but, of course, forums didn't happen for my last two cars. So, we shall see.

I come from a variety of cars ranging form 4x4 Jeeps to track built Mitsubishi Evos.
I just picked up my first Mercedes! I am really excited. It is a 1998 ML320 with 167K miles. It was very well taken care of inside and out. It has a few issues mainly the ABS light is on. Everything else is cosmetic. I am really appreciative of this forum. Thanks ~ BenzNow
Hello everyone, I'm Chase and live in the Santa Barbara area in California. I recently purchased a 2006 E55 AMG with 55k miles. The car is an absolute dream car of mine and saw a good opportunity and squeezed the trigger with the blessing of the wife of course. . I have zero experience with forums but could not pass up the opportunity to speak with fellow enthusiasts and have the chance to ask questions and discuss different aspects of ownership and modifications.
