Aftermarket Door pins.

In case anyone is looking for aftermarket Doorpins that properly fit the GLE, this one will do the job flawlessly. No AMG logo, stainless steel. Just unscrew plastic OEMs and screw new ones. All 4 doors install the same way.

You simply unscrew the old ones with your fingers? That's all?

Yes, but sometimes they are on pretty tight and you may need some pliers (tips covered to protect the pins) to help.

Thank you. The same pins from the photo are on the link? Because they claim they don't fit W166 and other sellers have different lenghts for the door pins for front and back doors for the GLE.

Yes. The photo is this post my actual MB pins installed. The amazon link if you look at the questions, I was the one who ask the seller to confirm they will fit the GLE and he did, so I ordered them and didn't have any issues with installation.

Thanks for the info, now I doubt if the different lenght pins they sell will fit the car in this case
Do you have any experience ordering aftermarket aluminium pedals for the GLE? There are a bunch of them on the ebay. I ordered mine without the interior sport package because I was obliged to take the sport seats, which were too tight for me and didn't have the ventilation option, in this way I couldn't get the sport pedals and steering wheel unfortunately.

I haven't try any yet. But take the chance and let me know if it works.

These pins were my second try and error. First ones were suppose to fit w166 GLE but they were too thin and look awful. So I returned the first ones and had succees with these ones.

They are plastic and look cheap, OEM AMG are $200 set. For me these aftermarket pins were a more reasonable option and look great.

Were the stock pins different lengths front and back doors when you removed them?
