Tire dressing

Each week I have both cars, S Class and SL, hand washed in my driveway. Howevever, BlackMagic gel tire dressing leaving marks and soiled spots on concrete due to silicone base. Any thoughts on how to clean concrete? Reluctantly, I've discontinued tire dressing.

That's happened to me as well and that spot, or spots, on your driveway will never stain again for years. If it is cement, there will be a sealed spot where that silicone stained it for a very long time. If you could seal the whole driveway with that stuff, it would look new practically for a decade.

My tires look great after taking a stiff brush to them without using any tire dressing.

If you are using a Tire Pad with just a little bit of dressing, you should have no problem. If you put it on too heavy, you will get the tire sling. If you use any spray, that's the culprit.

If you use tire dressing with a dressing pad, it goes a long, long way... Just don't goop it on.

Or, just pull up on 4 pieces of cardboard and dress away....

Mequiar's Endurance Gel. This stuff is the best I've used and the best thing about it is, it lasts through the rain! It lasts the longest.

I can second this. Used it for the first time this past weekend based on a recommendation. Of course, it rained the next day. Tires are still shiny after the rain, which is a first for me and I've used a lot of different products. Highly recommended.

I would avoid the bottle in the picture below. I've used it and it's such a pain in the a** in regards to tire sling. I even let the tire gel "dry" on the tire overnight (about 10 hours) and I still got black tire sling all over the wheels and body panels the next day after driving it. It was a huge mess.

As the thread starter, thank you all for your comments.
The point of my initial question was that the dressing I was using is staining my concrete driveway. So, with that specific fact, does anyone have a dressing that doesn't stain concrete?

This is something you should do in the garage maybe. BUT, I've done this on the concrete, and it doesn't stain since you put it on with a sponge. It's only going to stain if you use a spray type that leaks off the tire. No staining with the Meguiar's when using a foam applicator.
