So, i have a few buddies of mine who want to go to the 1/4 track and i figured i would post it on here as well as it would be a great way to run our cars and meet one another either stock or modded members. I def want to take my Eurocharged tune car down the track since i just got tuned. Here are the details:
Where: Atco Dragway
When:7/30- This way we all have time to prepare for the track.
Time:We can meetup together and roll out at 9 a.m (in queens or long island)OR we can meet over their at 10:30 A.M
I will be posting this in the 204 63 amg section,205 63 amg section and the 211,212 section as they seem to be the most active users and those who go to the track.
Please feel free to chime in guys! More the merrier!

I hope you get a bunch of takers.I am interested to see how the various tunes and even the stock 450/43 perform. The concern I have is with the date(7/30).It is usually very hot in july which could greatly affect the times. The diff in times at 90+ degrees vs 50's could be .3 or .4 tenths.Of course the heat will affect everybody the same so the comparison between cars will be valid.

Why don't you go to Englishtown instead. Waterfest is July 15/16 weekend, it used to be VW/Audi only event, but now they allow all euro cars to run. Last year I went on Sunday and manged 26 runs in my son's Jetta. Might not get close to that this year, but should be able to get more than a hand full. My C43 should be "broken-in" by then and I will most likely run it there.
Hey bud, not renting a track out or anything but just a meet up or we roll out together at the track. To run i believe is 35 for 3 runs and then a helmet rental is 10. I could be wrong in regards to the cost of running as they have an event going on as well. Would love to run against you as i believe you just have the oe tune and i have the eurocharge tune.

I'm with 18bora, Englishtown is also at least an hour closer to the city. Sorry man, just not into driving that far. Enjoy and I hope you get a ton of people to go.
Thing is, if Englishtown is busy there are times you dont even get your 3 runs in. I have gone twice and that has happened. So many people break down their causing huge delays. But 18bora has had different experiences. I guess its up to luck.
Englishtown is normally busy on unmuffled nights like Wednesday, that's when muscle cars like blowup to oil the track and you'd be lucky if you get 3 runs. During a VW/Audi event, I normally get at least 10 runs.
