Remember when a 15 1/4m was a quick car, and anything under 6 0-60 was fast?
Our stock 1/4m puts us faster than a Masearti Ghibli qS4... not bad at all.

The initial launch time really drags this car slow. At launch you can hammer on the gas, and for the first whole 1 second it just sits and stares. Once it gets going, the acceleration is phenomenal.
Is it just my car which acts like this or all of them?
I have tried launching it like a launch control car, jamming on the break, pressing gas and letting it go. Even though it is a bit quicker, there is still a lag present.

Someone was saying that the launch delay might be due to boost leak from intercooler pipes. Do you think it has anything to do with it?
Also have you compared your eurocharged tune with anyone's AMR Tune?

Nah, def dont have a boost leak. My car pulls all the way lol. I would love to compare my car vs amr tune. I am making a trip to the track and i believe one of the forum members here NYCSOIL will be coming with me. He has the OE tune on his car. So this way we can finally know whos tune is most powerful, and gain some knowledge.

It's a built in safety feature, unless you have launch control, euro/drive-by-wire cars are made to cutout the gas when the brakes are pressed.

Since I'm within driving distance from AMR, I spoke to them about "custom dyno tuning" and I'm not sold yet. From what I was told, they just flash the car and strap it on the dyno to make sure everything is running ok. Not knocking AMR down, but to me this is not "custom" tuning. When custom tuning, you keep throwing timing/fueling at the car and tweaking until it starts knocking, then you start dialing back and smoothing the curves. This this how you get the most of every car. There is really no point in making the trip since chances are nothing special/custom will be done other than getting a dyno sheet.

Not bad if you ask me.

Huh? All of the tweaking was done already. He actually has a c450. You're correct, for a $100 you're getting the ECU removed, flashed, replaced, a dyno sheet, and some coffee. You also get the added security that if a problem occurs (as it did in my case) it is immediately diagnosed and repaired without the hassle of shipping back and forth.
Not bad if you ask me.
