Welcome aboard with your "real" AMG
I don't think this forum page is inactive as some say. OK there are times when updates or new topics are slow to be posted, but I guess members are doing other things, like enjoying a drive

Car looks pretty good, i love that two tone interior on these cars. I HIGHLY suggest removing the resonator and the secondary catalytic converter, it just sounds so good but its still quiet when your not on the gas.

ive done all the work to my car except the engine swap (dropped a 02 clk55 engine in) and i wish i would have waited to do it myself. these cars are really easy to work on, i've done a complete tear down on a 5.4 m113 so ive got tons of tools including an engine hoist. but i think you'll find that most of the repairs on this model doesnt require much except a bit of patience. that and this forum, active people now, are an absolute wealth of information.

oil leaks are usually from valve cover gasket. quick fix is to torque down to spec. if that doesnt work then get new gaskets (cheap). second place you might have a leak from is the oil cooler, this would require buying a tube of the mb sealant. i have an extra tube i could give you at cost ($18) and maybe half a tube, i'd give it to you free if i can find it and it hasnt dried out . sometimes you will get a leak if there is too much oil in the engine, it will leak out of various places including the oil level sensor. recently one of the forum members found a long time leak in the front of his engine, i'd have to search exactly to see what it was or he may chime in.
coolant sounds like a loose connection somewhere, so will have to fill up and just spend some time watching, maybe put her up on ramps (cheap at walmart).
just noticed you need a front bumper, im selling the one off my car if you're interested. its black and not perfect but would be 99% after prep and paint. its usually about $500 to paint a bumper (if you just bring it in, without prep and if they use MB bought paint) not sure how much the prep would cost you, i dont think much though.
also throwing in there, if you dont know (you probably do). its cheaper to buy parts from sites like mbdirect, fcpeuro, etc than at the local dealership.

Sounds like your valve covers are leaking. This is a common issue on the M113 engine and probably every owner has done the gaskets at least once. They are easy to do with correct seals OE if possible and special gasket sealer, again MB available.
P.S. There is a sticky thread with plenty of DIY videos, so a look around is recommended
P.P.S. As Mickey13 mentioned, I'm the guy who found an old oil leak on the front of the engine that even the dealer never found. I'll copy the link on here later...

You should have no problems with the harness. It's not biodegradable not like certain years for the c36

I assumed it was the gaskets wasnt sure tho but def gonna replace them for the hell of it(piece of mind).. yeah ill buy the sealant off you unless theres a site to get that as well..That bumper id be very intrested in after i fix these minor issues(whats the ticket for it?).. Thanks im gonna check everything like you mentioned
yeah no worries, when u get a chance post the link.. that would be appreciated.. yeah seen the vids and saved them lol def gonna be used as refrence for whatver i run into those are the first issues im gonna tackle... then the wiper motor/signals dont work/heat doesnt blow out the vents(assuming its the blower).. Brakes, rotors, & lines/ & Suspension..... After that cosmetics.. refinish my mono's and purchase Mickey's bumper.. trying to get to the cosmetics portion by the middle of next month.. curious are wire harness on these models the same as the other earlier models(biodegradable)?
