Should I trade in 2015 Lexus RCF for 507?

I need help deciding on whether or not to trade in my 2015 Lexus RCF for a slightly used 2015 C63 AMG Edition 507! Everyone non car person I ask says I should keep my RCF and even get a new one when my lease is up, they say the RCF looks much better interior and exterior. To be fair, I slightly agree BUT there is something about a 507 that I just love. Is it worth it? Is it a downgrade? In what areas is it a downgrade? Is the 507 worth it or is the c63s a better option?

Obviously everyone here is biased, but I think as good as the RCF is and it is a good attempt, Toyota is still chasing the Germans and it is still not quite on par from a driving experience, they do some nice technology though and every iteration is closer.

To me it is still just a Lexus and you chose reliability over the driving experience, but lately it is getting much closer!

yes agreed, there are things in my RCF that I prefer over the 507 such as the parking sensors and how they let you know the distance to an object, the rear view camera resolution and FPS is 2 times better than a 2015 507 and last but not least, styling! The Lexus rcf has a very unique styling I get compliments on daily here even in LA! Average people that don't know much about cars love it. I suspect the 507 won't get that as much but the 507 sounds much better than any RCF and the aftermarket is 2 times better than the RCF aftermarket. I'm really torn on which to go with, a part of me wants to settle for an ftype r or possibly SVR for the right deal or even maybe a slight used c63s coupe edition 1. But there is a part of me that really wants a highly spec'd 507 which there are out there. It's this lust for a 507 that takes over even over the new c63s. I just want to have it for the right price play with it for a year or so and then sell it. This maybe the best option for me. I need to get the bug out of my system, get the 507 mod it play with it and resell it after about a year and possibly move onto the new c63s

the RC-F is a comfortable car...a comfortable "sporty" car. the 507 is a powerful car that although is comfortable can't hold a flame to the more modern RC-F.

if i wasn't a car person, RC-F would fit the bill...i'm a car person so 507 would do it for me. my friend actually traded in her RC-F for an LC500h and was the happiest person on earth.

If it was something you were going to keep a while and not drive a lot, I would say that the 507 will be more unique and may hold it's value over an RC-F in 10 years being the last of the big V8's and the highest spec of the run (not including the black series).

They are very different cars. Ultimately, you just need to drive them and see which one speaks to you. Who cares about non-car people? I don't need people I don't know and don't care about telling me my car looks cool... I know it does and ultimately I don't really care what you think. With that said, I love my ISF despite it being fairly old and a bit under powered and the suspension breaking bones. For whatever reason, I just like the car. That's the reason I've held on to it... that and I wouldn't mind adding an RR Racing supercharger... Anyway, I looked at the RCF when I bought my 507... Was it nice? Yes. But I just didn't feel it. I bought a 507 in April and haven't thought about an RCF once more.

But that is me. If you like the RCF, but want something faster and louder - RR Racing can cure that.

The interior and technology bells and whistles are better in the RC. The 507 is a hell of a lot more fun in my biased opinion. Try to find a dealership with a 507 and take it for a test drive to decide if YOU like it better.

It really comes down to what you like and if you need strangers on the Internet to tell you what you like then you could end up with something your not happy with.

Personally I don't like the interior of the RCF but that's me. It is two different animals here, do you like the Japanese styling or the euro styling.

Just be sure to take advantage of this offer if you keep the Lexus.

Trade it in. Personally I don't think the RCF is anything unique/doesn't stand out. Also the exhaust layout annoys me.

Ha. I know Toyota/Lexus gets a bad rap for being the non-enthusiast choice of cars, but I would imagine most people walking into any dealer wouldn't even notice it's a picture of a clutch disc rather than a brake disc.
Hey, at least he's wearing latex gloves and looks the part!

I have a 507 so my opinion will be biased.
It's an awesome car, but that is my opinion. Although I'm pretty sure you would love it as well.
You need to go and take one for a test drive. Then you will know.

What's wrong with this picture I don't get it? You didn't know that Lexus went with the manual clutch-assisted brake option instead of the automatic version for increased driver feel on the track? Apparently the real racers are loving the clutch controlled ceramic rotors on the track!
