You should be aware that that eBay item is not a soft copy of the manuals. It is software that you need to install and configure that accesses the 'manuals'.

When I purchased this a couple of years ago I ran into configuration issues and had to contact the seller. Same issues came up again months later when I went to use it. NOT HAPPY.

I'm not saying this will happen to you, but you should be aware that you need some level of technical aptitude to use this.

There are "soft copies" of the manual available but they would have to fill volumes, which is why MB puts theirs out in this form. You also need some level of technical aptitude to attempt DIY repairs on a Mercedes in the first place. You certainly can't beat the price.
If installing the software is a challenge then you will have a tough time navigating the topics as well. These are complex cars as is their maintenance.

I purchased a service manual from an online retailer in the UK but it covers the USA version of the vehicle. CLKs from 2002-2009, emanualonline.com it's about 6K pages long in a PDF version. The title is 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK350 Service & Repair Manual. If anyone would like it I'm willing to share, it cost me $20 but this forum has been so informative I'll share it for nothing if it helps someone out. Problem is that it's too large for an attachment so if anyone has an idea just let me know. The file size is 207 mb compressed and 211 not compressed, Sort of defeats the purpose of compressing it...

If someone wants it badly enough, they could always pay you to burn a DVD and pay you for shipping. It would fit on a regular CD too, since they hold around 650MB.

In my experience ( 6+ years DIY on my 2007 CLK 350 doing all maintenance / repairs) it is essential to have the Mercedes factory WIS/ASRA/EPC systems bundle as the manuals / parts reference source. In 2018 I bought the set on USB (75gb uncompressed) from a source in the UK for about $30 - 40 Aus - sorry I don't have the link anymore. My copy runs on VMWare under W10 no problems. It has all MB light vehicles from a long time back until 2017. Just plug in the VIN for your car (I also use it for my C-Class 250 coupe) and you have access to all step-by-step work instructions including diagrams, safety data, part number identification specific to the model. I notice that later versions of the bundle (2020+) are now being sold as time-based access on-line, but for our CLKs the USB is great as it is a 1 off trivial cost.

The other thing you need (apart from solid DIY experience) is an MB-specific OBD diagnostic tool. There are many references on the forum for recommended tools. I have an iCarsoft 980 which works well and has MB model specific capabilities.
